English Summer school – why us?

Think of sending your children to an English Summer School? There’s only one place to send them. London. And there’s only one school to send them to. Ours. Why? Where are we?

We’re based in Hammersmith, a gentle stroll from the accommodation in leafy Chiswick. Both the school and the accommodation are only 20 minutes from central London by Public Transport.

Teachers

We only recruit the best – experts who know how to get the best out of young people. Specially trained to work with 13-18 year olds, you’d be amazed at how fluent they can become in just a short time.

Personal Tutors

Every student has their own Personal Tutor. He or she will help them learn English effectively, enjoy their accommodation and, just as importantly, have fun.

Classes

At our English Summer School, we concentrate on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Your children will learn English with a practical use - both speech and the written word. We give a weekly test to check what they’ve learnt. And every student completes a written project to take home with them as a record of their brilliant time in London. So parents can share in their child’s experience and see just how clever they are!

Level Testing

Students have an Entrance Test so we can ensure they’re placed in a class at the correct level.

Certificate

At the end of the course, we hold a fun Presentation Day, where every student receives an attractive certificate showing how well they’ve done.

Melting pot

One great side effect of our English Summer School is that students can make friends from other countries and cultures. They come to learn English and learn about the world at the same time.

Accommodation

Students are all within walking distance of our School. They can in a Halls of Residence or placed with friendly Host Families.

• Halls of Residence

Students will share a room with other students. A friendly Welfare Officer (provided by and trained by us) will be with them in the Residence at all times, ensuring they’re happy and safe. We recommend Halls of Residence for students coming with a friend or as a group.

• Host Families

Students will be taken good care of by our friendly Host Families, with a lovely breakfast provided. The school cafeteria has many delicious lunches and dinners. Rooms are singles, twins or triples. And rest assured – all our Host Families have undergone strict checks by the Metropolitan Police.
