Learn to communicate effectively and more fluently in everyday English on these lively international courses for adults of all ages. Your classmates are students, graduates and working people drawn from over 80 different countries. You can start any Monday. Our class average is 19 students and the maximum is 25. Our teachers are specially trained and recruited to teach groups of this size effecively which means you get a great course for a low price.
a) Morning General English
These courses are for people of all levels of English, from complete beginners to near-native speakers. They develop your practical communication skills, with special emphasis on speaking, pronunciation and listening. The lessons are imaginative and structured so as to allow maximum time to learn and practice new language - vocabulary, colloquial English, idioms and grammar to help you achieve maximum fluency.

This course is 3 hours of Morning General English plus 1 hour of conversation

c) Afternoon General English
The teaching and teachers are of the same high quality but as you study at noon, afternoon or evening we can offer these courses at a reduced rate. You can start any Monday. On these courses you can also prepare for Cambridge Examinations.

This course is 1 hour of conversation followed by 3 hours General English in the afternoon

e) Afternoon Academic year
Our 15-hour-a-week course, spread over 9 months, reduces costs for long-stay students. The course includes 36 weeks of tuition with an option to take an Cambridge Exam Preparation Course. This course can only be started any monday in January, April or September.

f) Academic Year Plus - Afternoon
This course provides extra flexibility for students wishing to combine holiday and study. The course is spread out over 48 weeks. There is 36 weeks tuition and 12 weeks holiday. 8 Weeks of the holiday must be taken in July and August. This course can be started any Monday in January or April.

i) Business English
This course is for those who use or intend to use English in a business environment. Classes focus on language skills for the business world, including telephoning, negotiating, attending meetings and writing reports.
We cover business vocabulary for areas such as marketing, business administration, finance and E-commerce. Students will be able to study towards the Cambridge Business Exams.

k) Conversation/pronunciation
Conversation
This supplementary course develops speaking skills in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. You discuss interesting topics and practice typical conversations that occur in social, study or work life. Fluency is encouraged and correction is done at the end of the discussion. This course is also designed to help students improve the clarity of their spoken English, through learning how sounds in English are physically made and how these sounds fit together to form our spoken language. They will be given the opportunity to practice their pronunciation and receive correction from their teacher. Students will also be taught to recognise and understand a wide variety of regional and international accents. This course can be taken as a regular class, or an intensive course can be booked.
As this course is only 5 hours per week it is not possible to get a student visa by only enrolling on this course. It is possible to get a student visa if this course is combined with a general english course of 15 hourse per week.

a) English & Work Experience
Ideal for students and young professionals who want to improve their English in a working environment. The internship is unpaid, but the experience invaluable. The course consists of 75% English classes to 25% work experience. The work experience is full time and unpaid.
Students can choose from a variety of business sectors including: Marketing, Advertising, Fashion, Engineering, Architecture, Hotels, Import/Export and Administration.
Entry Requirements: Upper Intermediate level of English. Must have done some relevant work experience. Candidates must be aged between 18 and 30. Suitable for students on student visas although students from outside EU must enrol for a minimum of 24 weeks. Placement subject to satisfactory interview.
